Poker Tips
Today we have a ton of choices when it comes to poker books. There are a lot of good reads out there that we can use to improve our skills. Here are some tips on how you can maximize your money spent for a poker book:
Read the whole book
Most of the time, we browse for a good title of a poker book and leap through some chapters of the book where we can find some useful things that can help us with our game. Then we get bored and we never pick up the game again. This should not be the case ideally.
Stop and Read
A lot of books are left unfinished because we are busy playing online poker or playing in local tournaments. We should take some time off the game and have the discipline to pull out the poker books from our shelves and read. This will also help us learn some discipline. Stopping is also one great way to recover from a series of bad beats.
Thinking time
When you devote time reading away from the poker table, you will be able to discover the real content of the poker books that you have. You will find out that there are a lot of lame poker books out in the market but however lame they are, I am pretty sure that you will be able to pick an important lesson or two about the game.

Poker Strategy
Poker players always aim at winning the pot. However, poker players should constantly upgrade themselves and keep learning different tricks which would add charisma and attitude to their playing styles.
Reading this article will help you master some of the most effective and incredible poker tips to win the game.
Players adopt a wrong strategy by playing too many hands. Players should know when to play and fold the cards. The right approach at the right time helps tremendously. If you are not folding the cards it indicates you have a good hand which would help you win the game. Most players think that playing more hands may result in magnifying the chances of winning. However, this is not true.
Another tip which would help you to easily sail the game and win the pot as well is choosing a table which has amateur players which would increase your chances of winning the game.
One of the most important tip that I would like to share with the players is that you should have a comprehensive understanding of playing position. You should proceed in the game only if you have a good hand and you should never play out of turn as it gives away secrets like anxiety, happiness and so on. The best position in the game is button which gives you a chance to observe the game and playing styles of the opponents. Don’t play Clonie Gowen in the same way as you would your father in law!

David Benyamine + Online Poker
You can’t really blame David Benyamine for putting all the money in with Ace Jack here – but it is a pretty sick matchup in a Heads-Up situation when both players are this deep.

Daniel Negreanu + Phil Ivey + Video + World Series of Poker
Even though Daniel Negreanu doesn’t think a poker face is too vital – I still think Phil Ivey is a God.
When I go on tilt, I take a small break on the online roulette. I never have over $100 in that account, and
that gives me the chance to gamble a little for low stakes, in stead of spewing on the the poker table!
